2 stars for the housekeeping staff and the restaurant staff at the hotel, everything else was not a 5 star experience to say the least. 1st the property was false advertising the selected room and when I reached out and confirmed the marketing was false they took no accountability, Expedia had to pay the difference for the room change in order for me to proceed with my stay. The property needs major renovations to be considered 5 star. Our room ceiling would leak in the bathroom when it rained, cabinets in restroom falling off, no ligting on the balcony, no chairs or seating area to enjoy the ocean views, we had to move indoor furniture to the balcony. I found staff at the reception to be rude and dismissive when a item of clothing went missing at the pool. The beach in front of the property is dirty and not enjoyable. I even seen a man deficating in the ocean while I was taking a stroll around the property. The only working AC on the property is the rooms, everywhere else its extremely hot and uncomfortable. The other thing I felt odd was no spa menu available, only in reception and had to take a picture for reference, the hotel missed out of hundreds by following this practice. When I ran into deciptive marketing that should've been clue to avoid at all cost but I proceeded and take full accountability. My stay was definitely regretful. I will not return nor would I recommend to anyone seeking a 5 star property.
