heerlijk, mooi, rustig hotel
Heel mooi verzorgd hotel met heel lief personeel. Het enige was dat het best een stuk lopen was naar de kamer, maar kon bij aankomst met een golfkarretje. Eten was ook lekker. We kregen een upgrade. Rustig hotel met mooie zwembaden. Wel best een stukje van Ubud, maar met een shuttle prima te doen.

goede uitvalsbasis voor ubud
Indrukwekkende natuur van hotel ,rivier loopt dwars door twee delen van het complex. Algemeen goed onderhouden. Ontbijt middelmatig, kamers onder de vorm van bungalows met terras die overdekt is en leuk uitzicht geeft op het groen. Badkamer buiten kamer onder afdak ..persoonlijk vond ik dat tof. Minpunt in dit hotel is dat men, zelfs als ontbijt inbegrepen is, moet bijbetalen voor alles dat niet op het buffet staat..water, ijs, etc....Een coca is toch wel 50% duurder dan in andere van kwaliteit vergelijkbare hotel.

Zeer fraai gelegen luxe villa's
Santi Mandala ligt heel fraai aan de rivieroever. De verdere directe omgeving buiten het hotel is niet zo uitnodigend in de zin van winkeltjes of restaurantjes. Het dorpje is aan de andere kant wel behoorlijk authentiek met in de buurt van het hotel ook wat rijstvelden en bos. Toen wij er waren werd er hard gewerkt aan de uitbreiding van het hotel aan de kant van de heuvel. We hadden er weinig last van, alleen was de golfplatenschutting niet zo fraai om tegen aan te kijken als je naar je villa toe liep. Het zwembad ligt heel fraai op het eilandje in de rivier, maar is niet zo groot en een heel klein aantal ligstoelen. Zeker als er meer dan 10 gasten tegelijk van het zwembad gebruik maken, wordt het al lastig. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en erg bereid je te helpen. Eten is het restaurant en het inbegrepen ontbijt waren prima. Ik heb tijdens het verblijf last gehad van het feit dat er problemen waren met het printen. Los van het feit dat 2 euro per kwartier internetten op een ouwe PC en bijna niet leesbaar toetsenboard ook wat afsteekt tegenover de overige voorzieningen. Op het balkon van onze villa ontbrak een ligstoel of lounge bank. Er stond alleen een tafel en twee bijpassende houten eettafelstoelen. Badkamer met buiten douche is top. Uitzicht vanaf de heuvel en de zonsopkomst is heel fraai. Voor het overige ook niets dan lof.

Very nice and quite, relaxing. Really sweet and nice staff that makes you feel welcome. Pool bar wasn't open, but staff was very helpfull to deliver from the restaurant. Helpfull in every way to make the stay as relaxing as possible. Incredible restaurant with western and local cusine.

I almost want to keep this place a secret…it is that special. Divine surroundings, delightful staff, delectable swimming pool and dreamy waterfall. The restaurant serves delicious, beautifully presented food at excellent prices. We stayed in a villa over the lily ponds and the sound of the water was magical and so relaxing. I liked that it is surrounded by Balinese villages but if you want to walk out and shop, this is not for you. We hope to return.

There are some workshops and shops for painting, woodworking, kites and silver decorations around. But there were no restaurants at all, so there was no choice but hotel restaurant. The purpose of my stay was to do nothing, so I enjoyed a relaxing stay, taking walks and reading books, drinking local spirit with locals. "All the staff were friendly, and I especially thank to Ayu."

This was I think our 4 or 5 time to stay there. Over all we love the place and intend to stay there again. What I did not like is that they were not clear on when the restaurant closed. It closes at 10 pm is all they said when we checked in. What they did not say was that they stop taking orders at 900. I have cancer and need to eat when I take my medication. The guy in the restaurant did not care. It was not until I spoke with a manager that they agreed to get me something to eat and brought it to our room. I will be more aware the next time

Not value for money!
Morgenmaden er forfærdelig - lille udvalg, dårlig kvalitet. Kommunikationen er for elendig ift. det skulle være et større 4 stjernet hotel. Det er så godt som umuligt at blive forstået. Personalet virker ligeglade/opgivende når man henvender sig med problemer. Standen på vores villa (1 bedroom luxury pool villa) var LANGT fra pengene værd! Dårlig seng og "dynen" bestod af et to løse dobbelt lagener med et mindre fleecetæppe (der ikke var stort nok til to mennesker) lagt imellem, som resulterede i, at det hele gled rundt hver nat. Et lille og meget outdated TV med elendig opløsning. Vandtrykket meget dårligt og skiftende - ligeledes var temperaturen. Brusehoved lille og dårlig kvalitet. Der var to hårde solsenge men ingen madrasser til at ligge på. Ved siden af hotellet blev der næsten dagligt brændt af (fra rismarken) og der ligger et tempel eller andet offentligt samlingsted, der hele tiden har bøn/sang/taler over højtalerne. Generelt er hotellet OVERPRICED!!! Vi kom fra et mindre hotel (ligeledes med privat pool) der lå tættere på Ubud, men stadig privat, med bedre udsigt direkte til smuk jungle med aber og en villa i bedre stand til færre penge end Santi Mandala - så hvad man betaler for på Santi Mandala er absolut uforståeligt.

ホテルの敷地内に川が流れていたり、滝があったり、湧き水のプールがあるなど自然いっぱいのホテルでした。朝7時から無料のヨガ（予約制）があり、滝の音を聞きながらヨガをしました。食事もとても美味しかったです。部屋も毎日とてもきれいに掃除してくれました。また、スタッフがみんな親切でした。また泊まりたいです。

Can’t describe how deeply in awe I was with this place when I first arrived. The staffs are friendly and accommodating. I had to leave the hotel early af 3am on 8/9/2019 for Bali Marathon 2019 but no ride-hailing services were available at that hour. I almost panicked and thought I might have to cancel racing altogether. (Really. It was entirely to be blamed for not checking thoroughly beforehand). Thankfully, the front desk staff tried his best to get me a transportation to the race venue and yes! One of the night duty security guards volunteered to send me to the venue at Bali Safari, which is located 25min away from the hotel. I am deeply grateful with all the sincere help I have received from the staffs at the hotel and not to forget the excellent service. To all the staffs at Santhi Mandala, you all are awesome people! Location wise. the villa is located somewhere deep in the village and it’s not a dense tourist area. One might need to check if there’s any ride hailing available (e.g: Gojek, Grab, BlueBird) on different hours to get you to tourist-attractions or you can always get on the hotel shuttle provided. Overall the surrounding is peaceful and quiet. The villa also has a few small patches of paddy fields as well as a natural streaming river. I had dinner a couple of times at the hotel during my stay. The food is reasonably priced with generous portion. Restaurant staffs are friendly and accommodating too.

First Family Vacation in Bali
Excellent staff service. Very quiet and away from city. Good for family and delicious breakfast. Will be better if towels have no stain and no lizards in the rooms. Unless you are ok with lizard singing in the middle of the night. Spa is great. Had one dinner in the restaurant and no regret at all (good food and very entertaining young band playing modern songs). Wifi is not that good in certain area of the villa but ok overall.

Excellent rustic ambience with a soothing river within the premise. Lovely villas design with spacious and high roofed atap top and courtyard. The only regret is the towel and toileteries replenishment is lacking or kept at bare minimal.

Pure luxury in the most tranquil surroundings
This was one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed - we got a one-bedroom villa with a private pool and would highly recommend it if you want to really switch off and experience pure relaxation. The breakfast area was stunning and it was such a treat starting the morning immersed in nature. Would highly recommend a trip to the spa - I had an aromatherapy massage which was great but the main highlight was the beautiful, tranquil surroundings. The free 10 min shuttle into town is very handy - we were worried about the property being too far away from Ubud but it's so easy to get in and feels good being outside the busy city.

Le paradis au paradis. Super hotel idéalement situé pour visiter les nombreux sites de Bali avec les enfants. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. C'est fabuleux ! Merci !

Amazing place to stay
Beautiful and quite location with natural waterfall onsite. They offer excellent food with quality of helpful and friendly service. Perfect place to stay, practice yoga and recharge your batteries. I really enjoyed to stay at Santi Mandala Villa & Spa and would wish to come back here again.

Lovely place to stay, closer to Ubud than some other hotels which have Ubud addresses. Walking distance from Bali Spirit Festival, and Batuan. I have never previously stayed in a hotel with a river running through the middle of it. It works well here! You can watch the ducks from the restaurant or swimming pool. Not the plushest place, but I think the overall atmosphere is more important than level of luxury.

Lovely Villa rooms
Some construction was going on do they upgraded my stay to a pool villa room which was delightful. Hotel is s little distance from town. Their spa was very nice. Would stay again

동물원에 가고싶어서 예약한 곳인데 발리의 이미지가 각성될만큼 멋진 곳입니다.
새로운 문화 경험을 했어요. ~♡ 특히 음식이 맛있어요. 닭고기가 일품입니다. 조식에 볶음밥도 너무 맛있고요. 아쉬운건 소스나 볶음밥의 양이 적어서 아쉬웠어요.. 계속 리필해서 미안할 정도.. 직원들 다 친절하고...놀라운 좋은 경험이였어요. 또 찾고 싶어요! 참. 셔틀이 우붓 중심부까지 이동해서 좋았어요!♡♡♡

素晴らしかった。
私たちは車やバイクを運転できなかったので、 事前に連絡をしてcoco supermarketに迎えにきてもらいました。ホテルからcoco supermarketへは10時(その他の時間もありましたが覚えてないです)に無料で送迎してくれて16時30や20時くらいにまたcoco supermarket に迎えにきてくれます。ホテルについたらチェックインをしてウェルカムドリンクをもらいましたがとてもおいしがったです。部屋はガーデンビューでとても良かったです。夜ごはんもホテルのレストランでそんなに高くなく食べれる(だいたい1000円前後で高くてもステーキが150kルピアくらいだった)のでわざわざウブドに行かなくても問題なかったです。料理はとてもおいしかったです。 静かに滞在したい方にはとてもおすすめです。

A gem of a hotel...
Santi Mandala Villa and Spa was fantastic. They cater to the customers and go out of their way to help. I enjoyed my luxury suite with my own private pool and the breakfast was great. If you want a quiet and very picturesque place to stay then I suggest the the Santa Mandala Villa and Spa. Tresse

Never Again
We had a (not so) private villa. Poor layout had a huge window with clear line of sight to our bathroom/shower and our 'private' pool from other rooms. Property has it's charms but it's a bit older and run down. Staff was inauthentic, incessantly asking what you were doing today, where you were from, and pushing their spa sessions as if reading from a charmless playbook. Breakfast would have been in line with expectations had we not been pestered to answer the same exact questions from 5 separate employees. Came home one very hot day to find our room AC turned off. They organized a taxi for us at double the average rate. Wi-Fi spotty. Title says it all - Never Again. Way to many nicer choices available for LESS. P.S. We stayed in villas at 4 locations around the island, as well as 2 other hotels during our visit. Two of the other villas were less expensive than this one and all three were a much better experience. Our hotel rooms were also better than this 'villa' experience.

We had a villa with private pool. It was really nice. The hotel is a bit far from Ubud and there is a lot of traffic to get there. The restaurant could be a bit nicer.

Perfect hotel for the quiet get away.
I really enjoyed this hotel. It is perfect for the retreat that I was looking for. It's about 20 minutes (free hotel shuttle that runs 4 times a days) away from the city. I usually take this shuttle around dinner time and get into UBUD city for dinner and a cheap massage :) The hotel was under renovation, but I love the traditional Balinese living style (the outdoor bathroom, the four post bed and all the suites have outdoor patio, and you have your own little hut) One thing that I was a bit disappointed in was that the common areas is a bit out dated and not as luxurious. Other than that, the staff and the level of service was amazing.
