'The unit was very dated with many items either simply not working or is a state of disrepair. Specifically, the A/C was not working upon arrival. Also, the toaster and coffee machine were not working and we did not receive a replacement until the day prior to checkout. The bathroom in the master room was also in poor shape and poorly laid out. The toilet seat was loose to the point of detaching from the toilet and the blow dryer only worked in one setting. The shower is less than 3 foot by...

'The location of the River Inn is excellent. It is in a nice neighborhood, with like a 20-30 mins walk to the DC Mall. There are multiple restaurants and super markets relatively close. The hotel itself also contains an Italian restaurant that was fine, the breakfast is also there. The staff of the hotel is helpful and the rooms are clean and big. The room contains a lot of extra facilities such as cooking facilities. We had a great stay. '
