'Was in town to go to the Tank Museum. Lovely property that was a 5 minute drive to the museum. There was an attached restaurant that was very reasonably priced and a nice continental breakfast that came with the room rate. The rooms were clean and functional. The doors were charming and opened with an old school key. For better or worse, the doors were also older wooden doors and not terribly good at keeping the outside noise out. '

'The Knoll House Hotel has a lot of character and some charming communal rooms (a bar, lounge and games room). From the front loan you have an amazing view of the sea. There are also other facilities, such as the outdoor swimming pool that is a plus, especially on a warm, sunny day.
