'This is a delightful, welcoming and serene guest house located high on the hillside above Puna'auia, just south of Papeete, with a view of Moorea in the distance. My only note of caution would be the challenging, sometimes rough and very steep drive to the property but the way is well marked. The breakfast is fantastic and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend for those looking for a quiet, laid back experience.

'The proximity to the airport, the transport to and from the airport, and the quiet neighborhood was a plus. The breakfast was not cheap $20 US, but was excellent and very convenient. We arrived late into Papeete and this was an excellent choice after a long flight. '

'We had an amazing time here at Te Moana. The staff are more than accommodating and allowed us access to the property well before we checked in. Every day the property is filled with fresh flowers right from the grounds. It’s truly a breathtaking experience. Wonderful food and staff.'

'I highly recommend this hotel. All of the staff were fantastic and are just wonderful. The cleaning lady’s husband is a fisherman. We bought a big tuna fish from him. They helped us prepare the tuna and cook it together. We shared the tuna with other hotel visitors. It was the best tuna :). There were also kayaks on-site that we can use. The room was super clean and organized. We will come back again. Thank you for a fantastic stay.'
