'Okada is a pretty big ryokan in Hirayu onsen area. Perfect for visiting Kamikochi in the summer. Rooms are of good size with a nice balcony/sitting area. The biggest plus of the ryokan is the beatiful onsen with multiple baths. Drawbacks were that our room didn’t have AC, only a fan, while it was very hot. The futons were pretty hard.'

'Had a great 2 night stay. Staff is great and super helpful. Ryokan is located a few minutes walk from the train station, and 10 minutes or so from old town. Japanese breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend.'
