'This is a beautiful property and we hope to have the opportunity to stay again. The continental breakfast was plentiful and fresh, the kitchen being well stocked with a variety of tea, coffee, cereal, bread and toppings and juice. The accommodation was spacious and clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The off-street parking is extremely easy to access. '

'A stunning property, full of stylish period features. We felt like we were the only guests staying and considered our stunning room with a view to be our 'home'. The onsite butler carried out his work so quietly we hardly knew he was there, but was always available to give friendly travel advice or assistance. Fantastic location in a charming historic village, complete with delicious eateries a short walk away. We will be back!!'

'I have read all the reviews and to be honest they all do this property a disservice. The Alabama is absolutely a wonderful place to stay that is outside of the ordinary hotel experience (in the best way possible). I am staying at a 5 star hotel in Sydney during my stay here in Australia but while I was here I decided to come to Tasmania for a couple of days and this is where I stayed and I am glad I did.
