'When I checked myself in using the door codes emailed to me (the front desk is only attended during the day), I was quickly disappointed with my room: the door wouldn't lock, the toilet wouldn't stop running, and I found some kind of stain on the mattress under the tucked sheet. I texted the 24 hour emergency number, not sure who would respond at such a late hour (it was 11pm at this point). Shortly after I sent the text, I heard back from someone named Amelia who ended up making my whole trip...

'We picked Spark primarily because many of the reviews commented on the cleanliness. We were not disappointed. Our bedroom and bathroom were immaculate. The common areas, like the hallways and lobby, were tough to keep clean because of the sand and salt from the winter weather, but we could tell that the cleaning staff were there regularly. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the continental breakfast. We were expecting muffins, danishes, etc., so we appreciated the hard boiled...

'Checkin proces without a physical reception is cumbersome and not clear. Many messages are to be interchanged and upon the notification that check-in authorization would be disclosed 48 hours in advance, only on the arrival day itself at 3 PM an email was sent. In addition, we have been charged twice for the parking lot, whereas it was made clear we brought one car while having booked two rooms.'

'Beautiful property! My fiancé and I extremely enjoyed staying here while we had a christmas party in St. Mary's. The rooms/each building are kept so nice and the beds are so comfortable! 10/10 experience. Parking is right beside which ever building you are in, easy and short walk to your room (especially nice in the winter as it was a chilly one)!'
