It is our most sought-after villa-apartment with its well-designed timeless interior and a minimalistic exterior, including a lava garden, large breakfast terrace, dining area with outdoor kitchen under an architectural pergola and private plunge pool with gorgeous views.

Explore Tenerife, discover its nature and culture and come back to an elegant, well-designed home. Try our champagne from the in-house wine cellar in your private heated plunge pool or relax in one of your apartment’s private outdoor spaces: lounge area, the outdoor breakfast table, the outdoor kitchen area under the architectural pergola, etc.

Nested on a hillside between the base of the volcano and the ocean your apartment and terrace offers one of the most stunning view of the whole island: the green north coast with its spectacular sunsets and the massive volcano Teide, to the other side.

The apartment is a separate part of the villa in the very private neighbourhood. Beach and town are only a 3-min drive away. The kids are going to love the small local beach with black sand and a couple small Spanish restaurants right on the ocean and everybody loves the colonial town with its cafés and restaurants. It is a perfect home base to explore the island.

Icod de los Vinos sits right in the center of the emerald coast, known for its wines and colonial architecture. It lays just under the national park with plenty of hiking opportunities. Its beach, with its small restaurants and the coastal residential areas are called San Marcos and this is where Alberto Dorner is located.

The south airport is about 1 hour drive away, and the north airport is about a 45 minutes

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist wunderschön, mit Blick auf das Meer und den Teide. Allerdings liegt sie in einem Nebelloch und wer einen Strand ohne Steine sucht, muss weit fahren. Auto unbedingt notwendig. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll, aber ein bisschen abgewohnt ( alle Türklinken in der Wohnung defekt und in der Küche schließt leider keine Tür mehr richtig, Griffe verbogen). Die Küchengeräte sind etwas spärlich ( z.B. keine Auflaufform). Es sind auch leider Euch keine Gewürze da, was bei einer Ferienwohnung seltsam ist. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt leider nicht ganz. Bei diesem Preis (240 Euro pro Nacht) sollte alles in entsprechenden Zustand sein….

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans un appartement de standing totalement équipé avec une vue et un couché de soleil incroyable. Nous avons rencontré des petits problèmes au niveau de la piscine mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de profiter pleinement de l’appartement. Un magnifique lieu pour se détendre et passer de bons moments en famille ou entre amis !

Perfekt um abzuschalten! Wunderbare Apartments in einer ruhigen Lage. Die Lage bildet einen guten Ausgangspunkt für sämtliche Unternehmungen in Teneriffa. Bei Fragen oder Problemen steht das Team von Alberto Dorner immer Rede und Antwort.

The property is extremely well presented and occupies a superb setting overlooking the coast. The outdoor space is great - lots of different areas to sit. The plunge pool was very welcome on hot afternoons. Elena (concierge) and Kay (the owner) were very welcoming and knowledgable. We would definitely return.

We found this great little village with great views and a lovely apartment. The concierge were very helpful,friendly and professional. We arrived on the Tuesday and stayed for a week and although we never got sunshine all week we did drive up and over the windey roads of Tiede to the south which was better on those days. The apartment was clean tidy and provided everything we could have wished for. Would definitely stay again!!!

We stayed four weeks in the apartment which lived fully up to our expectations. The view from the apartment is outstanding both from the terrasse and from the living room. The apartment is nice and clean and everybody was very helpful. A stay is highly recommended.

We're a family of 4 (two boys 8 and 12) who wanted to stay in a nice, modern place, with a typical feel and lovely view. This is exactly what we got! This house is in a quiet neighborhood, away from busy streets. The pool was refreshing- although quite small- but the kids had fun and we enjoyed it also when it was hot. Meeting Kay, the owner, was a big plus as he made wonderful recommendations and suggestions. He was totally helpful and went out of his way to have us discover authentic, off the beaten path wine and food guachinches (we had mentioned to him that we wanted to explore local culture, food and traditions), which were a true highlight of our stay in Tenerife. We've rented places all over the world and have never met a homeowner as attentive to making our stay memorable. The Travel Guide Elena and Kay have put together for their guests was also very helpful as it recommended the nicest beaches, local fresh markets and grocery stores. We drove around quite a bit - there's so much to discover: volcano, beautiful beaches, lots of wonderful hiking trails, neighboring towns, etc. - relatively close (within 1 hour) and easily accessible. The apartment is comfortable and it was always a nice feeling to come back to it after a full day of activities with the boys. We truly recommend this lovely home for a wonderful time in Tenerife!

We LOVED this home, the location, the surrounding towns. It was perfect . So perfect we considered extending our stay because we didn't want to leave. The home was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed with everything you could possibly need. The view is incredible and the area is quiet and peaceful. We were there at a quiet time and for most of our stay we had the whole complex to ourselves which was a huge plus. The neighboring town of Garachico has great restaurants and a stunning backdrop of volcanic rock and the sea. We went there often. I hope to come back one day, and to stay in this exact apartment.

The views and the apartment are every bit as stunning as the pictures make out - you will not be disappointed. There are absolutely plenty of 'oldy woldy' B&B style places ran by a 'Bob and Sue' looking for high churn, with minimal maintenance in Tenerife which we wanted to avoid! So coming across Alberto Dorner apartments was a huge relief and EXACTLY what we were looking for; clean, modern, away from the hustle bustle, private pool, and great view. Everything else was a bonus - well stocked wine cellar, complimentary of a collection of drinks, a warm welcome from Carlos the apartment manager who was great, and Kay the concierge was awesome providing recommendations on places to eat/visit - every part of our stay was cared for. Friends of ours having seen our holiday pictures have already made bookings to stay themselves. We really, really, can not recommend this place enough.

If you are going to Teneriffa, this is the place to stay at, LOVELY!!! Beautiful area, lovely apartment, amazing view, great service and not too turistic. We where two families with two babies that shared this accomadation and it worked out perfect. The only thing we missed was pavements because we wanted to walk with our babies from the apartment which was not possible. We needed to take the car everywhere. But we knew that it would be like that when we did the booking. We would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family. Thanks Kay and the rest of the staff.

We enjoyed an amazing holiday in this apartment. The place is exactly like in the pictures, with an amazing living space, terrace, pool and view. The apartment is very well equipped and the service and communication was excellent. The location is very nice, away from the crowded tourist areas but close to many enjoyable beaches and day-trips. Renting a car is a must (which is the case for total Tenerife). We can highly recommend and will certainly come back again.

Many thanks for letting us stay in your property - our children loved swimming pool and had a great time over the Christmas period. The property is located up on the hill, near San Marcos. You will need the car to shop in the near supermarket in Icod de los Vinos but the property has fantastic views down to the ocean towards Garachico, away from the busy town. The location is great as we were able to discover the north of the island in both directions. We love walking and did some fantastic walks in the north e.g. El Teide national park (via La Orotava), Anaga mountains but our favourite was a walk just up above Icod, beyond the La Montana village around Chinyero volcano. The apartment itsels is well equipped, we had a lovely fruit basket with oranges, papaya etc and a bottle of house wine left at our arrival and we had also sampled wine from the cellar located near the garage. Special thanks to Elena and Carlos for making our stay pleasurable! We'll be back!

What an excellent apartment for a stay in Tenerife! I was a solo female traveler and felt very safe and comfortable here. Welcoming and friendly property manager. The concierge, Elena, prepared a lovely basket of local foods, fruits, and wine when I requested some groceries upon arrival. Superior A apartment is really the best and most private. Sweeping views of Playa San Marcos, nearby Garachico, and the stunning El Teide volcano summit. The sun in late October was warm and the plunge pool is an excellent amenity. I think vacation rentals should be a part of the experience when traveling and I spent plenty of time reading on the loungers next to the pool overlooking the ocean and enjoying homemade breakfast on the terrace in the cool mornings. A shared garage was available for parking and the small group of apartments are in their own little private compound atop a small hill - felt very secure. High quality linens in the bedroom and stylish interior design round out a perfectly managed rental property. The location is excellent for feeling like a local. Icod de los Vinos is a great little village with several good restaurants (La Parada) and coffee shops (Lekkery) and a nice town square overlooking El Drago and the ocean. The drive to Masca and Los Gigantes is reasonable (45min) and the drive up to El Teide National Park through La Orotava is a must-do. Nearby Garachico is a very quaint seaside town with beautiful natural swimming areas among the volcanic rock pools. I've heard the north side of the island is cloudy, but there was only sun during my stay. I would highly recommend this property when visiting Tenerife. Really, truly the best.

Espectacular lugar tranquilo pero cerca de la playa y de Icod de los Vinos. El trato inmejorable, la atención y el cuidado dignos de admirar. La casa es preciosa y sus vistas maravillosas. Estuvimos muy a gusto y sin duda vamos a volver en cuanto podamos. Super recomendable. Nada como una copa de vino en esa terracita observando el valle y como no... el Teide. This property offers stunning views to the ocean high enough on the bluffs to offer tranquility and solitude. In one direction you can observe the hypnotizing waves crash on the cliffs below and in the other direction one can witness the highest elevation of Spain, Tiede the tip of a volcano. The apartment is professionally designed and offers modern state of the art interior amenities. The exterior boasts of a stylish private swimming pool with a glass wall offering endless views of the ocean. A modern pergola offers a stylish outside venue for socializing, star gazing or enjoying a drink with your loved ones. The hosts go beyond all expectations by offering a concierge style of service. They answered all of our inquires and facilitated assocated transactions in a timely manner allowing us the opportunity to enjoy last minute excursions. They are proud of their culture and enjoy sharing dialogue with clients who are open to adventure. A true once in a lifetime experience only achievable with the proper location and down to earth hosts! We invite Kay and his family to visit us in the US as they made a tremendous impression on us during our 14 day stay. Highly recommended!

Da nur 1-5 Sterne zu vergeben sind, tun wir uns schwer. 4 Sterne wären zu wenig, 5 zu viel. Wären es 10 mögliche, würden wir eine 9 geben. Zuerst zum Licht. Durch die Bilder der Anlage, die wir kannten, waren die Erwartungen hoch und wurden bereits am Anfang unseres Aufenthalts voll erfüllt. Wir wurden von Carlos sehr freundlich und sehr nett empfangen. Der erste Eindruck im Apartment „Modern“ A: Sehr hell, chic, großzügig, ruhig, sauber, alles da was man so braucht und beim betreten der Terrasse – woow! Links der Teide in voller Pracht, rechts die Bucht von San Marcos und der Ort Garachico. Beeindruckend und genau das was wir uns vorgestellt haben. Der „Fresskorb“ mit dem notwendigsten zum Frühstück bleibt in guter Erinnerung. So verbrachten wir die ersten 5 Tage mit ruhigen Abenden, tollen Ausblicken und Sonnenuntergängen auf der großen Terrasse und hätten bis dahin volle 5 Sterne gewertet. Auch den Besitzer, Herrn Gonzalez (genau so nett und freundlich wie Carlos :-) ) haben wir kennen gelernt und ihm noch vorgeschwärmt wie wohl wir uns fühlen und ein Wiederkommen nur eine Frage von Wochen ist. Zumal auch das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt! Dann kam der vorletzte Abend und mit ihm der Schatten….. 5 Asiaten, die die Appartements über uns und mit direktem Blick auf unsere Terrasse, bezogen hatten. Jung, männlich = laut! Vorbei war es mit der Ruhe und erst ab diesem Moment wurde uns so richtig klar, dass wir die Tage vorher nahezu alleine in der Anlage waren. Was, wenn alle 5 Appartements belegt sind? Was, wenn Abends alle Terrassen und Balkone mit Leben erfüllt sind? Alternativ bleiben ja noch die Superior Zimmer im Obergeschoss des Nachbargebäudes, welche wir garantiert testen werden… :-)

The apartment was as described and gave us everything we needed, including a dishwasher, washing machine, electric juicer, filter coffee machine, copious wardrobe space, a huge Terrace and fantastic views. Our hosts simply could not have been friendler or more helpful. We definately needed a car, but we wanted to travel around the island anyway, so this wasn't an issue for us. There is also a bright, clean and tidy multi-car garage under the building. The sense of security around the building and the neighbourhood was good. This is not the place to go for a beach holiday, but if, like us, you wNt to explore the island, this is a perfect place for your base. We couldn't have been happier here. Thank you very much to our hosts for making us feel welcome - we would love to come back!

Wir waren LEIDER nur eine Woche in der schön gelegenen Ferienwohnung mit Blick auf Teide und der Küste bis Garachico. Alles war wie beschrieben. Der Eigentümer und der Verwalter sind sehr NETT und immer behilflich. Es fehlte an nichts. Wichtig ist es ein Auto zu haben um mobil zu sein.Da eine Garage vorhanden ist kein Problem. Fazit: Wir kommen sicher wieder und empfehlen die Wohnung gerne weiter.
