'The hotel was in the ideal location for our purpose.It had its own car park which was convenient. The building looks good from the outside, unfortunately the rooms are out dated and ours was very hot. As it was on the ground floor we did not feel it safe to open the larger windows and the small window did not provide sufficient cooling. We had noisy neighbours both above and next door, this was unlucky and could happen in any hotel.'

'We hebben slechts 1 nacht in het hotel verbleven met 3 personen en we hadden een ruime familiekamer wat eigenlijk je eigen cottage is verdeeld over meerdere etages. Het gebouw zelf is prachtig, zoals bijna alle gebouwen in die regio en met een ruime tuin eromheen. Het interieur zelf, kan her en der wel een touchup gebruiken met name de receptie area en badkamer, maar het is heel in het algemeen heel sfeervol en evt kleine ongemakken worden ruimschoots goedgemaakt door de vriendelijke staff.'

'Pleasantly surprised at how lovely this place is. Very authentic British Inn. Indian food on the menu was amazing. Pub was awesome. The room was great. Bed was very comfortable. 'Such a nice and cosy little hotel. It's like an Inn, which is as said the oldest in the UK. You really breathe the middle ages, so awesome. Breakfast and dinner are super. Most friendly staff. The rooms and bathrooms are a bit small, but that's just fine because that fits such an historic place. Together with the beautiful surroundings of the Cotswolds, highly recommended. '

'Very conveniently located. Good food, friendly and very helpful staff. We were able to park in one the few tight spots available alingside the white building. The doors accessing our room did not securely close although we were able to lock the room door once inside. Overall good stay. '

'Great hotel with friendly service and good nice looking restaurant. I was comming in late so they made me a delicious sandwich to avoid going to bed without meal. I received a room with bathroom for disabled people. It would be good to have a squeegee there ;-). Nice parking space but maybe a slow loading station for electric cars would be a nice add-on. Breakfast starts a bit late if you target business people.'

"Het is een mooi ingericht hotel, maar voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn een uitdaging. Veel op/afstapjes, een douche in een bad en geen lift. Wij vonden het eten matig en duur. De prijs was geen probleem geweest als de kwaliteit prima was. Onze ervaring was dat met name het vlees (veel zenen en taai en bij de roast niet echt warm) geen goede kwaliteit had. Bij reclameren werd het weliswaar opgelost, maar het moet natuurlijk meteen goed gaan. "
