'As far as motels go, this is a better than average one. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were ok. My only issue was with noise transfer. I had my dog with me and because you could hear everyone going in and out their rooms, slamming doors and going up and down the stairs, my dog barked a lot! I’m sure that was annoying for everyone! This is something to note if you have your dog, or are sensitive to noise. Otherwise, staff were very friendly and no other complaints. '

'Room was clean, batheroom was lovely and had very nice products, staff at check in/out were nice. Location was great! Looks like the renovations aren't completely finished as our room needed proper window coverings, matching bedside lamps (one was truly awful!), had no wall decorations of any sort and needed another lamp in the corner as it was a very dark room. Bed was comfortable but it made a clanging down when you got i and out which was odd, like someone banging a steel drum. The chairs...

'The room is a bit on the small side. The heating/cooling unit doesn't work properly so expect to be either too hot or too cold. No staff is around after 5 so if you need something you are on your own. To me the bed was comfortable as it is soft and I am a side sleeper. The pillows are on the flat side and need to be replaced. The shower head is also needing repair or replacing. Little details like this are important to truely make this place Bliss.'

'Een motel met een uistekende ligging in hartje Powell River met een prima prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Kamers zijn deels vernieuwd (bedden, airco), deels wat verouderd (meubilair, kitchenette). Maar alles werkt goed. Motel is rustig en ligt prachtig op heuvel met zicht over de baai (mét orka's!) en met mooie zonsondergangen. De eigenaresse is supervriendelijk en heel servicegericht, ze zwaait liefst elke gast persoonlijk uit.'
