'Fijn hotel. Hoofdgebouw is een oude pub/restaurant. Kamers zijn in bijgebouw. Prima kamers, bed en badkamer met inloopdouche. Geen airco maar wel een ventilator. Ontbijt is prima; echt Engels zelfs met blackpudding (als je daar van houdt). Omgeving is leuk om te fietsen. Redelijk dicht bij Oxford (10 mls). Mooi oud paleis (Blenheim) op 4 km. Personeel vriendelijk'

'Lovely stay at a genuine village pub, not a restaurant with rooms or a hotel with a bar, this is the real thing. Beautifully furnished rooms, amazing staff and service and fantastic atmosphere, and Blewbury is beautiful. The Ukrainian menu has to be tried! We loved also that the dog was as welcome as we were.'

'The rooms on the property are tiny, they look bigger in the pictures! The rooms are dated & dirty. I'm not sure we were actually clean after getting showered. The floor was gritty under foot and there were other people's hair all over the bathroom floor. There were a lot of mixed messages as well. When booking its advised that you can check in from 3 but check in forms we received implied you can't check in before 5. Breakfast was another mix of messages with staff not being clear either....

'Our room was small but spotlessly clean. Whole place feels like it's been fairly recently refurbed and it's "trendy" and attractive. Staff in the pub/restaurant downstairs are lovely and - although we only had some chicken wings as we were heading out for the evening - they were delicious. We weren't aware (possibly our own fault!) that the premises are not staffed overnight and consequently there are no food or drink facilities at breakfast time, aside from the tea/coffee in the room.'
