'Amazing ambience, lovely scenery upon the bank of Hudson. Easy drive to Hudson and Bard College. The only thing to mentally prepare for is that life is not as fast paced as NYC. Go with the flow and be nice to the staff because during high season they take care of lots of people without up staffing. '

'We loved the history of the hotel as well as the charm. It is very convenient to all the shops and restaurants. Our room was large and comfortable. It even had a fireplace to make it cozier. It could use a little updating, but overall, a wonderful stay.'
