'Meme si ce n etait que pour une nuit de passage dans la region...cet endroit est vraiment top...le personnel aux petits soins...arrivés apres la.fin du breakfast on nous a malgré tout propose des oeufs... Classe... Literie de qualité, chambres spacieuses...je recommande chaudement '

'When we arrived we were not even sure if it was the right place- just looked an out the back pub, which is what it turned out to be. We paid and were shown to our room (16). Very compact, there was mould on the bathroom ceiling and a very frosted window. No wardrobe and very little storage space. The TV didn't work while we were there. A knock at the door, out card hasn't been accepted, yet I had a receipt. On checking, it has been accepted! To get to the room, there is a narrow corridor.'

'Everything was exceptional. The staff was incredibly helpful. The rooms were gorgeous. The food was great. But I cannot say anything better about that staff. They were absolutely lovely.'

'Train station being close is about the only good thing this place has to offer. You have to make it past the bar with a bunch of rowdy drunks talking trash to you just to check in. Whoever took the pictures for this place deserves a raise. The room is tiny. The mattress is old. The bathroom is gross. The carpet is gross. Was woken up at 2 am by a guy pounding on the door next to us begging someone to let him in. This went on for about 15 minutes the first night. There is no security lock on the...

'Beeping smoke alarm which we had to sort out ourselves, kitchen door off hinges, toilet seat not fixed properly , bathroom door handle missing I do not expect to have to go searching for the electrical fuse box to turn the smoke alarms on. Location was great for our family party in Digbeth, shower was brilliant, place was clean and was quite decent apart from the issues listed above '

'We were accosted at reception by drunk patrons, upon entering the room we noticed the smell of urine, brown curious stains and smudges on the walls .. bugs on the sheets and black mold on the windows'

'Nice basic hotel, near train station and close to shops and restaurants.'

'The hotel is well placed in the centre of Birmingham and close to "Grand Central", my room was comfortable and more than adequate for my needs. However one of the lifts was out of action for the whole of my stay, the other lift was slow, small and not up to standard. I managed to walk up and down to my room on the 8th floor a few times but the taking 20 minutes from pressing the call button to reaching the ground floor for my departure (with bags) was poor.'
