'The french country cabin was just as charming and quaint as described in the listing. Terry & Beth were excellent hosts as the cabin was very clean and stocked with wine and goodies upon arrival, as well as eggs from their personal chicken coop. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Close to downtown Traverse City, but away from all the hustle and bustle at night. Just a quick drive to Glen Arbor and up the road from the amazing Farm Club. We will absolutely be visiting again soon....

'The cabin was perfect for the 4 of us and our puppy. Very relaxing, laid back atmosphere. We used the boat and kayaks and loved the lake! Caught some bass, some small bluegill and a northern pike! Our hosts were quite friendly and responsive. The extras in the bathroom are a nice touch! It should be clearly stated that this is shared property. 'Check in was easy. The place was very clean and well stocked. The property has a nice beach area. I don’t realize how small space was. It is on a very busy road and other tenants were out in parking lot talking and could be heard inside along with loud bass cars after 11pm. Also noted smell of recreational substance waffling in the bungalow. Not really ideal environment for children as they struggled to sleep with all the noise. We were in number 1 so closest to road. '

'Our stay was amazing. Wayne and Teri made the entire process simple. They answered all questions super quickly, check-in was as simple as going to the cabin and opening the door (with the keypad). The cabin was cute and clean and had everything we could have possibly needed and way more. My daughter loved the smores' and the fire pit was perfect and all set to use. We would 100% stay here again. We had a great time. The only negative is we were gone for softball a lot and would have enjoyed...

'My friend and I stayed here for a week. It’s such a cute, clean little cabin! It was such a peaceful stay! It’s not terribly far from the sleeping bear dunes and we made the drive to torch lake not a bad drive! We really loved staying here we spent most of our time on the back porch looking at the lake! Would definitely love to come back! The only thing I did not realize when booking is there is no AC. I brought a fan just in case. They have many fans in the cabin and it stays pretty cool. '

'I am so picky where I stay, this cabin was excellent, clean linen and throughout, it's very nice. The kitchen was well stocked, along with the bathroom with extras. We made use of the pools that were close by with the pool passes that were supplied by the cabin, following day went to Torch Lake. Took a little while to find the sandy beaches of the lake for the children to swim in. This cabin was GREAT!'

'This well kept Cabin is beautifully nestled off the beaten path in Empire. While secretly tucked away, still quick enough to drive to the surrounding areas for amazing activities to do and sites to see. We enjoyed Empire Beach, Tubing on Platte River, Empire Bluff Hike and Pyramid Point Hike. Breathtaking views of the beaches-never salty clear water so refreshing. The dunes can be hiked or beautifully viewed. Electric bike ride from Glen Arbor to Empire was an amazing last day activity. ...

'The cottage was very nice and clean. It looked like it had been totally remodeled. The windows, walls, floor, doors, furniture, appliances, furnishings, towels, linens and appliances all looked brand new. The property was on the lake and included row boats and kayaks for use of the renters. There were nice picnic tables and firepits. We had a great time.'

'It was a great spot to escape into the woods with no neighbors and spend the days on torch lake! Very built for skiing but held up great for the summer as well!'

"Locatie is goed maar de kamer was niet heel schoon bij binnenkomst. (Komt mede doordat er snel veel zand wordt binnen gelopen). We hadden voor 3 personen een kamer geboekt (2v1k) maar het bed voor ons kind was niet opgemaakt. Ook handdoeken, bekers en buiten stolen waren allemaal voor 2 personen. "
