'I didn’t realize there’s no cable/smart tv'

'It was great!'

'Great location close to Warner Theater and downtown. Extremely easy to check in, even at night in the dark. Rooms were clean, beds were soft and comfy, everything smelled fresh and clean.'

'Clean property, very cute. Also very small. Cable/tv access was challenging, but all on all a good experience'

'Good communication. Clean place in good location. Would stay again. '

'This is a beautiful place to stay and Carol was an excellent host, very communicative and welcoming.'

'This is part of a charming farmhouse. It is modern, clean, well-appointed and comfortable with some special touches thrown in, like a pitcher of fresh cream and a bowl of eggs in the refrigerator, along with a loaf of freshly baked bread on the counter (and a half gallon of vanilla bean ice cream in the freezer that I didn't see until the last night!). The bed and sheets were extremely comfortable, great shower and there were enough books and games for any taste. It's well located near some...

'Everything about Jefferson House was perfect. It was located in a beautiful part of Connecticut adjoining a state park. The house was beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped and had a large island for dining. The bed, pillows and living room furnishings were very comfortable. The house was well up-to-date with two TVs, a charging device with multiple cords, a double oven (!), and countless thoughtful touches. I cannot recommend it highly enough!'

'Once we found the house it was very warm & cozy. The mini- muffins on the counter was a bonus. House mailbox was 87 but address was 89 that you only see if door is closed which it wasn't on 1st 2 passes. Limited exterior lights made coming back at night a challenge. '

'My unit was exactly as described. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely return again. '

'There were minor cleaning issues in the bathroom, and my only/biggest complaint is the listing is misleading as it says you have no neighbors but the space is physically attached to a larger house and the driveway and entry/exit doors for both units open into the same small space. Additionally the front door has a large glass window with no curtains so you have absolutely no privacy. This is a direct conflict with the listing and I did bring this up to the landlord. That being said the location...

'We really enjoyed our stay and the check-in/out process was easy. The location, decor, and parking were great. We were very grateful there wasn’t a list of cleaning or chores to do before we left. I don’t know if this is the best property for elderly people. The stairs are hard to navigate and don’t have a bannister all the way up, the rugs and thresholds between rooms are tripping hazards, the floors slant, and the level of the bottom of the tub is lower than then floor. These are all things...

'Terrible, worst stay ever . It was such a hassle to get in no clear instructions… never again'

'I had wondered about the amenities. the coffee pot was not cleaned , actually had mold in it , and the carpet was lifting at one corner, where i kept tripping on it. I certainly appreciated the rest ! As it was during the turkey holiday and easy to find through downtown Hartford '

'Nice place'

'The house was perfect. We came in for my son’s wedding and had family staying from all over- Canada, Arkansas and Florida. The house worked out perfect. All the rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. There is a bit of a steep staircase to enter the house which can be tricky for the elderly but completely doable. I would definitely rent this property again if needed.'
