'Totally enjoy the hot tub with stunning views, so relaxing. The bar area is amazing relaxing for a drink and good bar food for a chilled evening. Staff are super welcome and attentive for the service. Fabulous breakfast with amazing sunrise view. Would definitely stay again.'

'Perfect breakfast, hotel looks really nice! We had small room. This room had some issues: - very hot, even with window open and 13 degrees outside - bed is rather short - side table is close to your head when sleeping. place your pillow in the corner not to heard yourself. However design of room and hotel is really attractive.'

'Een hele leuke uitstraling die helaas niet meer als hotel van deze tijd is. Ondanks dat het bed perfect was en het sanitair schoon is de afwerking in de badkamer en slaapkamer onder peil. De hotelkamers en in mindere mate de overige ruimten van het hotel zijn aan een rigoureuze opknapbeurt toe. Als pub en ook eet gelegenheid is het erg gezellig met prima gastheren en -vrouwen, maar de accomodatie verdiend echt een grote facelift!'

'This is possibly the most charming hotels and place I can remember staying. It’s an old building in a harsh Scottish environment and that is part of its charm. If you want pristine decoration it’s not for you. If you want excellent hospitality, fantastic staff and walls full of the owner’s original art, go. Walk the Crinan trail - the view from the viewpoint is one of the best on a clear day (it is a steep walk though). A genuine Scottish gem.'
