'Disappointing. On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows. No WiFi in the room. Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. A cooked choice would be expected (and was advertised)'

'Kamers zijn eenvoudig maar groot genoeg en schoon. Avondeten was prima en ontbijt ook, erg aardige dame. Alleen wel engels ontbijt.'

'Een echte engelse pub waar wij van houden. Een heerlijk oud gebouw, voorzien van alle moderne gemakken. De charme van een pub zoals wij ze niet hebben in Nederland. De kamers waren mooi ingericht, kort geleden helemaal vernieuwd. Een compleet scheve kamer met mooie lage plafonds maar het bed staat recht ;-) Goede wifi, mooi uitzicht en heerlijk eten!'

'Absolutely unreal. The staff, every single one of them are fantastic. Here for a wedding locally and we greeted were warmly by all the staff here. The room is very large, very clean and well ventilated. The small touches in the room were very welcome, good towels, comfortable large bed and great coffee tray. We went for lunch in the restaurant and it was out of this world, the duo of lamb being the absolute favourite. It was so tender, the ragu tartlet was rich and delicious with the pastry case...

'Fijn hotel. Hoofdgebouw is een oude pub/restaurant. Kamers zijn in bijgebouw. Prima kamers, bed en badkamer met inloopdouche. Geen airco maar wel een ventilator. Ontbijt is prima; echt Engels zelfs met blackpudding (als je daar van houdt). Omgeving is leuk om te fietsen. Redelijk dicht bij Oxford (10 mls). Mooi oud paleis (Blenheim) op 4 km. Personeel vriendelijk'
