'A dated traditional property but clean and tidy.'

'Had everything u need in kitchen, bathroom n bedrooms . Everything was so clean, washer n dryer if u needed it. Close to shopping n groceries , quiet, easy to find I would recommend to anyone to stay there.We visited so friends in West Va n showed it to several friends and they thought it was adorable. Will stay again. Next time we go visit in West Virginia thank you so much and merry Christmas.'

'We found this apartment at the last minute of our New River Gorge National Park trip planning. It turned out a hidden gem to us. The apartment is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood of Oak Hill, a perfect home base to visit New River Gorge and other state parks in the area. The apartment itself is cozy, charming, well lighted and spotless clean. We feel so comfortable and relaxed as at home. all appliances are well kept and properly functioned. 'Location was great and close to nearby State Parks and attractions. Very clean and nice amenities. Even for short stay host provided bottle of wine and small gifts for our stay. We had a comfortable quiet stay away from the kids. Would rent here again if we return to the area. Priced well compared to hotel and much more space. Host was helpful on the holiday to clarify location and parking instructions. We had a lovely holiday getaway. '

'There was adequate space for the 4 of us. The TV was massive, and the hot tub was a cool amenity. The kitchen was large and had anything you would need to accommodate. For the most part, this vrbo served our purposes of needing a place to stay near our true destination and offered enough amenities. A couple things to note, however, that could be improved.The check-in process was weird. Typically you would be sent all the information for your stay, including everything you would need for check in...

'Great communication from hosts. Worked perfectly for our group. True ski in/out. Dryer in the bunk room was the best feature. It was 6 degrees with a wind chill to -8 so it was much needed! Would definitely stay here again!'

After two more unanswered messages to the homeowner I reached out to VRBO customer service. They were also unable to get in touch with the host (no answer and voicemail was full).
