'Lovely hotel, lovely suite, friendly staff. Room was clean, room 402. Very spacious, but temperature was a little difficult to regulate. Bathroom also very cold, but it was a lovely room and we would most definitely stay agan.'

'We took the train to/from York and the hotel is ideally situated. Close to the train station and to the core of York. Beautiful, clean, helpful staff. Great restaurant in the hotel, as well.'

'Lovely overnight stay. Used as a base to explore the surrounding areas. Was a bit concerned when we read that a lot of staff had walked out upon sale of the property (some sort of protest I guess). However, the staff we encountered were delightful and extremely conscientious. Special thanks to Caitlin and Adele, I hope your new employer's appreciate you. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms maybe a little tired but were spotless and very comfortable. Thanks again, we will certainly return.'
