'We travel to appleby castle as often as possibly we luv the company of sally and her staff. It will be a shame for the castle to be sold its so relaxing and the staff are down to earth which is what we like as a group. '

'Prijs kwaliteit zeker niet in verhouding. Kamer erg klein, klein bed, zodat je niet eens langs elkaar kunt lopen. Dode vliegen in de vensterbank. Zeer slecht en beperkt ontbijt. Kies zeker niet voor continental, want dat betekent dat je alleen cerials en yoghurt met wat fruit hebt. sap uit pak of fles. Over het geheel viel dit erg tegen. Als je in een oud kasteel zit, kun je verwachten dat het niet al te lux is, maar je mag op zijn minst voor deze prijs wat ruimte verwachten en een goed ontbijt....

'My family and I stayed here over Christmas for a couple of nights and we’re quite surprised with our stay, the house itself is lovely and the space was great for all the family to be together with our own rooms and the dogs loved it too, however I am disappointed to say the cleanliness of the manor was rather unsatisfactory. I would expect from any place you can book to stay for the rooms to be of a basic clean standard and I feel the manor wasn’t even slightly clean, there were dead bugs on...
