'Property is a short drive to restaurants and the town of Trinidad, which was the nicest of all the towns we visited. Our trip was primarily to hike the redwoods and surrounding area, so it was conveniently located to everything we did. Everything was clean, cozy and the staff were friendly. This was our first time here and all of the research I had done led us to book the right place the first time.'

'This was our second day at Alder cottage, and we came back for a reason! It’s away from everything, beautiful views, we love to hear the sea lions barking, and the waves crashing. It’s a great homebase, and we went up to Oregon and then also around Redwood Park and so many beaches! On this trip we went to Gold Bluffs beach and were nearly the only people there.
