Vind je ideale hotel in Twin Mountain

"Left with mixed feelings. We were friendly greeted. The room was fantastic. Clean, spacious, excellent bed and shower. The scenery of the lobby and backdrop of the mountains is stunning. We decided to have dinner at the hotel. The staff was very friendly but probably understaffed. It took a very long time to get the order in and adter the first course it took about 30 minutes for the second. We didn’t mind too much but there was a guy sitting next to us who waited equally as long just to make his order. We simply didn’t see any staff for 30 minutes at all. The food was average to be honest. I had their signature burger which was very dry and tough to swallow. The fries very salty. Not great, not bad. Dessert was good on the other hand. There was a mixup with the bill (we got it from another table) so had to walk to the counter. Honest mistake and was solved quickly and friendly. Next morning we decided to checkout first and then stay for brunch. There was nobody at the counter and there was a sign to simply drop the keys so we did. We went over to the breakfast/dinner area. We ordered drinks first which again took a long time time to arrive. You could tell she’d forgot because when she returned to take our food order she noticed we hadn’t received our drinks. The food was okay, and not expensive. I received our invoice during breakfast which stated a weird charge so had to go to the counter to sort that out. It was yet another mistake. Staff is friendly yet many mistakes. "
