'The hotel is fairly basic, the rooms look a bit dated, there was a crack in my bath surround and some staining on the ceiling, but I believe the rooms are due for refurbishment shortly, so this is likely to improve. The parking is just over the road, and is free for as long as you're staying (you can come and go without registering again apparently). The hotel as a whole was clean and tidy. The food was good but a bit pricey in my opinion, but it is a touristy area, so base your expectations on...

'After a nice welcome, we were able to really enjoy our stay last weekend. It’s set back from the busy roads and pubs so we could enjoy complete peace. Good breakfast and very accommodating. The room was clean and there’s great access to the town and many beautiful walks. We will definitely be staying again!'

The complimentary in room refreshments where also quite decent, The room itself was fairly modern the beds where comfortable too, we didn't try the food but the dining room and toilets downstairs where very modern and refined, if say the only downside was the actual in room toilets as they weren't as modern also no smart TV if your hoping for one of those.'

Richard was best aardig en vriendelijk maar vreemd blijft wel dat je 's morgens zélf naar de supermarkt moet om je broodje te halen met beleg terwijl ontbijt in de prijs zit, schijnt meeneem ontbijt te zijn.....verder doodsaai dorpje '

'No answer from doorbell for 10 minutes after banging on the door too. In the end some customers let us on. Told the staff and they weren't bothered. Room small. Curtains wouldn't close fully. Could hear the TV in the room next to us. Breakfast was cold and soggy'

'Parking was easy, breathtaking views! Room was slightly dated and had some dirt in the room such as dirty fingner print marks on the walls & mold on the shower sealant... Staff were polite but also didnt seem to know what they were doing and could not find my booking for 10 minutes asking me multiple times to confirm i had booked there. Also had confusion over my booking type as expedia allowed me to select the 'pay at property' option (which was more expensive) then the hotel took the money out...
