'This was our first time to Maui and it far exceeded even our highest hopes of what it would be. The resort is absolutely gorgeous, we had an amazing view of the ocean, countryside and mountain from our balcony. The staff was incredible, the food was delicious, the culture was amazing. We will definitely be back. My only complaint is now I have no idea how I'm supposed to top the trip we just had for our honeymoon. '

'I couldve had a better experience staying at Grand Wailea. Obviously, the grounds here are amazing to say the least. Everything is conviently located once you've gotten use to how big the place is. Once you've settled in, everything falls into place. This is family friendly resort, if you're looking for something intimate this is big enough where it can cater to both. it doesnt feel crowded. 'Wij werden ontvangen door Patrick met zijn gulle lach, een lekker lavendel watertje en ijskoud doekje. Het personeel in de Andaz is erg service gericht en vriendelijk. Het hotel heeft een mooi decor. De locatie fantastisch, met strand voor de deur. Erg relaxte sfeer. Andere hotels in Wailea zijn veel drukker. Klein minpuntje - prijzen van de drankjes, eten etc, dit geldt voor heel Wailea.'

'We had a wonderful experience, but prices and fees were extremely high. Restaurant dining is excessively expensive, and we were charged $120 daily for “hotel fees” and “valet parking” on top of the high price for the hotel lodging itself. This is something they don’t communicate in advance, which seems wrong. Hotel will also charge a $200/night deposit upon checking in, which they also do not communicate in advance. '
