'Despite turning up in biker gear I was welcomed warmly by the lady on reception. The breakfast options were explained and I went to the room. The room was clean and had a good array of bits and pieces, 2 small waters, dental care kit etc, a hairdryer with additional bits I don’t know the use for being A; male and B; bald. 'Wat een geweldig hotel is dit! Op loopafstand van het stadscentrum, busstation en het voetbalstadion. Het hotel heeft een prachtige lobby met glazen liften. De kamers zijn netjes, ruim en uitgerust met alle faciliteiten die je nodig hebt. En dat voor een redelijke prijs. Ik kom hier zeker terug!'

'The included breakfast was excellent. Staff were helpful. One of the superior rooms we paid for was not very superior and in the attic with no windows at all. We changed down to a regular room, which was lovely, but couldn't get a refund because we prepaid. It was a beautiful historic place and the small plunge pool was refreshing. Parking was close by and very close to Haro and the wine tasting and trails to bike and walk. great base for Rioja wine visit'

'In een woord perfect!!! Hier is echt niets op aan te merken. Tot in de kleinste details is alles geregeld. Schitterende kamer, parkeren in afgesloten privé parkeergarage van hotel. Het restaurant is een oude treinwagon aan de achterkant van hotel. Absolute aanrader. Topkwaliteit en producten uit de regio. Ook ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid . Zeer vriendelijk personeel en alles superschoon. Op een schaal van 1-10 is dit een 11.'

'Bijzondere locatie en accommodatie. Ook de inrichting en styling was zeer warm, origineel en sfeervol. Personeel zeer vriendelijk en zeer fijn dat ons hondje ook welkom was op onze kamer. Kortom heerlijk verblijf, ook al was het voor één nacht als tussenstop naar Zuid Spanje. '
