'Spent a relaxing holiday weekend at this cozy cottage away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cottage had everything we needed for full relaxation, and was close enough to country towns for restaurants and shops. While the weather did not cooperate much until we left, we were able to get in a short hike to see spectacular Dionondahowa Falls, as well as a drive to Bennington, VT for a great dinner. 'Property is beautiful BUT beware the cabins are much smaller than they appear in the photos. The upstairs with the 2 beds is just a crawl space with beds. Not suitable for young kids or anyone tall lol. The steps leading up to that space is dangerous. Make sure to buy the linen package, i didnt even know it exsisted until we arrived and it was to late to purchase. Beware of the slippery floors as well, my kids took many spills on them. The bunkbeds are also in closet NOT room. '

'I would highly recommend this place. Anyone who is looking for a peaceful getaway, with your partner or it's just a single person the surrounding area is very nice. The view especially the countryside the host was very polite in very informative of the place gave me very good instructions of the place. I would also add the liver.Room is very comfortable and very welcome.And as well the kitchen itself, it's very clean and very well organized the upstairs is cozy if I could give this 20 stars on...

'My dog and I loved our stay at The Kings Cottage. Close enough to town to be accessible (1 mile) but removed enough to feel calm. We appreciated all of the small touches — welcome basket, loads of games, hammock, and dog dish station. Would definitely stay again!'

'We had great time. It is a beautiful house. Very clean. Heating was very good. Plenty of space. Kids had great time in basement playing area. Located 25 mins from skii resort. Some more blankets may help just in case some guests need them. We had minor requests and manager responded very quickly, Would highly recommend. '

'The house is very big. Tons of bedrooms and bathrooms. Great kitchen. The host and property manager were very responsive and attentive. It was a little warm but we were warned of the cooling situation and we were there on a very hot humid week. I would recommend for a group trip. close to lots to do. '

'1. Host was in communication throughout booking till end of stay. 2. Host let us check in early, im sure tough to guarantee all the time, but with 2x kids and 4 hour drive this was huge. 3. Property was as advertised I would stay the living dining area open concept very clean modern all updated 4. This location is lake living in a perfectly central located area you can take Route 9 along lake saratoga for 15 min up to the track or go 1/2 down the road to Browns beach for swimming and ice cream...

This carriage house is rustic with exposed original wood beams, steep rudimentary staircase, sloping floors, etc. Downstairs is open area for kitchen/dining/living room, with a laundry room and a bathroom. 'My family and I got to enjoy a wonderful, relaxing week at this beautiful waterside home. Right on the Hudson River. Fishing off the dock. Able to just put the kayaks and paddle boards right in at any time and enjoy sunrise and sunsets on the water. Grill and outside table to enjoy meals together.
