'Very quaint pub in a quiet village - but full of life and character, obviously popular with locals and visitors alike. The staff were super friendly. Food was great. Our room was unique and full of old pub charm including sloping floors, but it was super clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom was well appointed.'

'Great pub, handy located, great service, parking on the street close by very affordable as long as you are away with the car during the day (paid is 0800 till 20:00) so if you come in after 19:00 and leave around 0900 you pay 2 pound for the parking'

'Really a nice place and something different than all others. Recommend it if you are looking for a cosy place with nice restaurant. The bed and room is great. Just one minus. Breakfast starts at 8 but we got notified it would be 9 because no staff. We paid for it and got some toast and some cerials but was a bit of a downer. If I don't need to have early breakfast I would go again. Colese to highway and Highclere castle by the way.'

'Hotel, pub and restaurant on a beatiful location near the Thames. Old cottage so your room has a low ceiling with cracking floors which makes it even more romantic. Kind personnel and lovely breakfast. Pub and restuarant are closed around 11 p.m. '

'The staff were friendly the room was clean. However, plumbing was shocking when a person in another room showered at the same time the cold water pressure dropped and risked scolding. In the room we were in there was poor ventilation with no aircon room was stiffling at night.'

'Friendly helpful staff, good value, no aircon but room fan provided. Good breakfast although not included in the price. I managed to leave my IPad behind but they messaged me soon after I left.'

'Vriendelijk en servicegericht: föhn, strijkijzer en waterkoker op je kamer. Het oudste deel is een oude sfeervolle pub. Een fijne plek om even als 2e thuis te hebben. Heerlijk rustig wakker worden met alleen vogels en blatende lammetjes als achtergrondgeluid.'
