'No Wifi access on the first day and only at the lobby. Only few staffmembers could speak some English. Unfriendly staff. Anouncments Etc almost only in Japanese. Swimmingpool closes at 4 pm. A part of our room's sealing was only 185cm high!!!This hotel is clearly aiming at Japanese guests only. Location is convenient.'

'Highly recommend splurging for the upgraded room with the open-air hot spring bath and full kaiseki dinner. It is a big step up from the standard room and absolutely worth it. The private hot spring on the balcony is incredible, especially after a long day of exploring or hiking. Dinner service was excellent — the young lady who served me was polite, professional, and very accommodating despite the language difference.
