'Such a lovely little gem near the center of town. The perfect fit for myself and two kids while on vacation. I appreciated the off street parking, and because we needed to do a lot of cooking, it had mostly what we needed to cook, and they offered to let us borrow anything from the main house that we might need. The hosts were very gracious and friendly. My only comment would be that there was a bit of a sugar ant issue that wasn't disclosed, so just make sure to keep all your food closed up....

'The property was clean and neat and modern. It had a microwave and a small refrigerator. But the best part was the bedroom. It had a memory foam topper and blackout blinds so you could sleep in a dark quiet room.'

'My husband, sister, nephews (5 and 11) traveled with me to our Grandpas memorial in Eugene. That is a long drive from Seattle so we found this spot for the weekend. There was enough space for all of us. The bathroom was well stocked with clean towels and extra linens in the closet. On Saturday night after we got back the adults sat by the fire pit and shared stories. The back patio morning or night time was very quite which was very much needed. There is a coffee shop and tap house just minutes...

'We had a wonderful stay in the garden apartment at Irvington House. It is very clean and comfortable. We took advantage of the beautiful backyard several times by having dinner or a glass of wine on the patio. If you get a chance to say hi to Mark (the owner), please do! Not only is he extremely nice and fun to chat with, he is very knowledgeable about Portland and the Irvington neighborhood. Let's just say that our list of "must visit" restaurants is longer now than when we arrived!...
