'The host was super friendly and responsive. She even made fresh dog treats for our buddy! The only reason this stay was not a 5 was TOTALLY MY FAULT and had nothing to do with the owners or property. Unfortunately I did not research which trails and activities in the area were dog friendly and i did not ask about the entry to the home. Our dog is old and struggled going up and down the outdoor stairs. Knowing he struggles at times i should have been more proactive in my research and questions....

'This is a lovely lakeside motel with everything you might want for a lovely northeastern Vermont vacation. It is essentially located to literally everything. You can rent kayaks, you can jump in the lake and take a swim, you can bring your own recreational toys, it is great.'

'As a bit of background, both my boyfriend and I were burnt out from work and desperately needed a vacation to get away and relax with our 2 dogs. With that said, I couldn't be happier that we decided to come here for some much needed R&R.The cabin was beautiful, the scenery was stunning, and the peace and quiet was exactly what we needed. The dogs LOVED playing in the snow and exploring, and my boyfriend and I loved playing games in the cozy den, cooking and eating in the well-stocked kitchen...

'Yeah the space was exactly as advertised and our hosts checked in via message to make sure the heat was at a comfortable temperature and to see if we needed anything. We also got to meet their energetic dog and play fetch. She was the sweetest!'

'We had a great stay and everything was as described. Since it was a ski weekend we did not make use of the outdoor features other than to walk the dog. Nice sunrise over the lake in the morning!'
