'Parking space was a great plus. A nice old traditional pub with plenty tables outside. Bed comfortable enough for one night stay. Good, powerful shower. Delicious full english breakfast. Dining room was a little fusty and in need of a some TLC and the evening meal was a bit overpriced for what it was but still an overall charming stay in this gorgeous location. '

'We stayed at the Horse and Farrier the night before our hike up Scafell Pike, it's only a 25 minute drive to Seathwaite Parking, if you're going up the corridor route. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. the food was lovely and the room we stayed in was clean, well presented and comfy. Definitely recommend eating nd staying here!'

'Prima hotel met zeer ruime kamers. Niet het nieuwste van het nieuwste maar prima geschikt voor 3 of meer dagen. In deze kamer wel een oud springveren matras en wiebelig bed. uitstekend restaurant, prima service en ruim assortiment bier aan de bar. Top verblijf in de buurt van het Lakedistrict. binnenplaats met ruime parkeer gelegenheid ook voor de motor.(Wifi kan beter, slecht ontvangst in de kamer)'
