'What an absolute joyous experience! Colleen met us upon arrival and showed us around their wonderful place! It felt a bit like the Shire, really! Comfy little abodes and unusual structures. The yurt we stayed in was lovely and large. With wood heat we stayed very warm even on frosty nights! We had a camp fire and nice kitchen facilities. But the best part was all the critters!! There is a pig and ponies and a duck. My kids particularly enjoyed the kitty, "Tiger" who spent our nights snuggled...

'Beautiful well preserved house. Very nice landlady/ owner, great hospitality. The house expires a authentic athmosphere of the past. Great for music, art and literature with piano and library. Very quiet besides some sheep, interesting walks into the Ox mountains. Mind your head within the house.'

'Staying in this home was exactly what we needed. We were looking to explore Donegal and this centrally located farmhouse was right in the middle of it. We were within an hour or so of most of the destinations we wanted to get to.We were interested in hiking in the Glenveagh national park and our host gave us an encyclopedia of information about the area and different places to go and visit, as well as how to get there from a local perspective. 'We had a fantastic time at Winchmore Hill House. We had 2 families and the house was the perfect size for our large group - not too small and not too big. The large group would usually congregate in the kitchen/dining area which worked great especailly w/ the easy access to the patio. We visited many towns on our daily tours but were glad that we picked Kenmare as our base as again it was the perfect Goldilocks fit small and quaint but still plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from.'

'There isn't one iota of negativity to be shared. EVERYTHING about Ashbrook is phenomenal - its coziness, comfort and locale is spectacular for those who wish to explore County Clare and Maire is the hostess with the mostrst. Wonderful!'
