The home accommodates 14 people in 6 bedrooms and 8 beds, including 3 master ensuites with king and queen beds, as well as a charming bunk bedroom. Indulge in the convenience of 4 full baths and 3 half baths. Our well-equipped gourmet kitchen boasts granite counters, cooking appliances, and utensils. The open floor plan is adorned with stylish decor, ample windows, and a cozy ambiance. Relax in the expansive four seasons sunroom with a dining area and bar. Revel in breathtaking mountain views from the interior, select bedrooms, and even while unwinding in the hot tub or by the fire pit.

The chalet's location is fabulous, close to skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, snowmobiling, fishing, swimming, and other water sports, plus shopping, dining, sporting, and cultural attractions. Each summer, the Ironman competition passes right through our town of Wilmington! The list of activities at this vacation home is endless. Whether visiting for a quick getaway, extended stay, or special event, Ausable River Lodge will keep you relaxed and ready for adventure!

The open living room, dining, and kitchen at Ausable River Lodge are perfect for fun and family time. The gourmet kitchen has enormous granite counters, stainless steel appliances, cookware, dishes, glasses, utensils, coffee makers, and more. There's also an extra large fridge, full-size freezer with ice maker, double oven, commercial-sized dishwasher, and a 6-burner stove with a downdraft ventilation system. Eat at the counter island with 9 stools and/or in the dining area with a table for 14. Off the kitchen is a laundry closet with a washer, dryer, iron & board for your convenience.

Relax on comfy couches in the living area. Stream your favorite shows on the large smart TV for streaming your favorite shows, surround sound, and a gas fireplace. Play your music on our Sonos wireless speakers via WiFi and listen to it anywhere in the house without losing sound quality.

The living and kitchen space connects to an expansive Four Seasons room with large windows for stunning mountain views. You'll find a spacious custom black walnut dining table that seats 14 people comfortably, an antique chess/checker table, and a bar area with 3 stools. The gear room is next to the Four Seasons room, equipped with cubbies for hats, gloves, ski helmets, coat hooks, and a bench for easy shoe changes. The gear room has its own entrance.

The first of the 3 Master Bedroom en-suites is on the main floor with a king bed, closet, smart TV, ceiling fan, and luggage rack. This is a perfect bedroom for those who have difficulty climbing stairs.

There is also a half bath on the main floor for the convenience of your guests.

Upstairs contains the other two of three spacious ensuite master bedrooms boasting king beds, each with a full bathroom and generous closet space to unpack your belongings, smart TV, ceiling fans, and a luggage rack. The fourth bedroom, also upstairs, has a queen bed and a 1/2 bath, closet, ceiling fan, smart TV, and ceiling fan.

On the lower level, you'll find a cozy playroom with a comfy pull-out couch, a smart TV, and 2 more bedrooms. One bedroom has a king bed, while the bunk room has a king bed and a bunk bed. Both share a full bathroom with a stylish tile tub/shower. Each bedroom has its own entrance for extra privacy, natural light, and easy outdoor access.

All bedrooms boast flat-screen Smart TVs, ceiling fans, warm color schemes, and comfy linens. A pack n play is provided for your convenience at your request. All linens are included.

There are four full bathrooms plus 3 half bathrooms at Ausable River Chalet. 2 master bathrooms and 1 half bathroom are located on the upper level, and 1 master bathroom and 1 half bathroom are on the main level of the home. The downstairs has a full bathroom which 2 bedrooms share and a half bathroom,. Each bathroom has a shower with custom tiles, and the lower level bathroom has a shower/tub combo.

Experience the outdoors at Ausable River Lodge. Savor a tranquil coffee on the porch. Admire the mountain view from Adirondack chairs on the stone patio by the fire pit. Have a cookout using the grill and custom picnic table. Unwind in the 6-person hot tub. Kids will adore The Minnow Club – a log playhouse with table, chairs, loft, and swing. And of course, make lasting memories around the fire pit with delightful s'mores!

Long-distance calls are not included. However, you may use applicable apps over wifi for long-distance calls or video calls.

For your comfort, from June 1st to September 15th we are pleased to provide the main and upper level bedrooms with air conditioning units.

The following items are supplied:

Toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, bath soap, and laundry detergent. Linens are provided, including bedsheets, washcloths, and bath towels to use during your stay. We do not supply kitchen spices (other than salt and pepper), condiments, beach towels, hand towels, shampoo, body soaps, or charcoal.

The home is ideally situated just 1.4 miles from Whiteface Mountain Resort, a 15-minute drive from Lake Placid, and steps from hiking trails ranging from relaxed walking/beginner trails to hard climbs/expert trails. Be sure to visit the beautiful Wilmington Flume, a 2-minute drive from the chalet. Close to Lake Everest in Wilmington, which has a beach, boat rentals, kayaking, picnic area, playground, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, paddle boarding, ice skating, and so much more!

Select USA & Canadian holidays are subject to a 3 to 5-night minimum stay, otherwise there is a 2-night minimum stay. Pricing includes nightly rent, cleaning fee, Damage Protection Policy fee, and 5% Essex County bed tax. The Damage Protection fee covers accidental damage to furniture, appliances, electronic devices, windows, doors, up to $1,500.
