The view of the lake is wonderful and the house has a screened-in front porch to sit and check it out. Actually my first experience with this type of lodging and I loved it.'

'We were happy to have a clean and comfortable place to stay while in Torrington visiting family. The hotels in town are nasty so this was a great alternative. There is a park across the street and an Office warehouse on the street behind, so it’s quiet at night which was a plus. Inside is definitely as advertised, cozy but not cramped, the furniture and decor is well appointed. We will definitely stay again.'

'This apartment is on the top floor of a nice house in a suburban neighborhood, so there aren't amenities within walking distance. However, this is a great place to stay: spacious, comfortable, clean, lots of amenities (full kitchen, separate living room, washer/dryer, new in-room A/C units that are very effective). 'Tough getting up the stairs with luggage. Sheets and beds not great. Bathroom shower not clean. But nice little place.'

'We loved our two night stay in the forest :) The house was super clean, well appointed, quiet and relaxing. We didn't have great weather so didn't get to take advantage of the perfect spot on the lake or any of the kayaks or boats, but the location was a great jumping off point for visiting the various Berkshires towns.'
