'Average stay, tv not receiving signal, boiler broke down, although owner came out to fix within a few hours. Very poor welcome pack (small bottle of milk). No logs or kindling for log burner. View from back of cottage spoilt by messy and junk strewn garden. Nice location with good pubs in village that did good food, just check what days they open.'

'The room was beautiful. We had been to a wedding so they allowed late arrival back. The only feedback is they the room was stifling hot to enter. There wasn’t air conditioning but there was a fan they I was happy with. The pillows were so comfy and it was a luxurious stay. Would return. Breakfast was also delicious. '

'This was our second trip to the lion at Belpur, and though we couldn’t have the bigger room this time, the room we had was still adequate for what we wanted. Always good friendly staff, who are more than willing to help.
The pub is located in a good area, close to shops and high street, and the mills and gardens. Fantastic time which is why we returned. '

'Comfy clean accommodation. A bit dated but well worth the cost. Big bright room with a small bunk room which between them accommodated myself & 6 grandchildren between the ages of 10 & 14 whilst we had a couple of days at Alton Towers. We all loved the food and the portions were good. They were safe playing in the park outside the back of the restaurant. The staff were all really friendly and spent time chatting to the kids even though they were pretty lively at times.'

"Very nice, clean and spacious hotel. When you walk, you are immediatelly relax.
Staff: super friendly. I have been in many hotels but never was welcomed at breakfast this way: table assigned to keep the privacy, explanation on breakfast. Loved it.
Breakfast: fresh fruits, warm meal, danish, yoghurt, all you need. And good coffee!"
