'This was my favorite stay in Japan! Beautiful, peaceful property with exceptional staff and service. I injured myself and was using crutches when I visited, and the staff was so kind and accommodating - they made us dinner reservations, brought us breakfast, and allowed me a bit of extra time for checkout since I was moving slowly. I'd definitely return!'

'Gajoen is a beautiful calm hotel in the middle of a overwhelming city. What a joy to come back every night to this hotel. Personnel are friendly and efficient, rooms are the most spacious and comfortable. We loved the quietness and zen feeling of this place. Restaurants are excellent and the museum side is a must visit when in Tokyo. We will definitely come back. '

'Rooms were excellent with a wonderful layout, they were classy but economical and well appointed with great amenities. Beds were comfortable. The cafe connected was quite expensive with coffee at around 800Yen but it was nice to have that breakfast option. The front desk staff was not able to help in foreign languages so that made some things more challenging. Coffee in room was not replenished either which was disappointing as we stayed 5 days with 5 people in the room and only got 5 packages...

"Hotel is good. On the ground floor you can wash and dry your clothes very cheap.
The shuttle bus service is excellent. The first day we had problem to find the shuttlebus bus. We walked 19 minutes from the shinagawa station to the hotel, google map. Shinagawa is good station to go directory with Shinkansen to Osaka. Price and quality I will give a 8"

"Het ontbijt is Japans, een glas met vis er in , rijst met curry wat vreselijk stinkt of rijst met vlees en saus.
Als je wil ontbijten moet je dit voor 09:30 uur aan je tafel bestellen. Wij krijgen dit in de ochtend niet weg en de kinderen ook niet.
Dus er is geen brood , fruit, ontbijtgranen , niets.

De kamer werd om de 3 dagen schoongemaakt maar ze deed dit wel met de Franse slag. De kamer is erg klein maar wel okay. Wij sliepen op verdieping 5. We hebben geen verkeer gehoord of ander geluid. In de badkamer werkt alles prima.er is een bad en een douche.er zijn 2 wasmachines in een kamer naast de lobby, daar is ook een magnetron en een ijsklontjes tjes apparaat en een automaat met blikjes drinken."
