'The room was in good condition, and was extremely thoughtfully put together. Charleen prepared nicely for our arrival, sending us messages about what to expect, and even stocking the fridge with snacks and homemade muffins. Our only complaint about the cottage itself had to do with the water system. There is only one setting for the shower- which is uncomfortably hot, and only one setting for the faucets in the kitchen and bathroom- which is uncomfortably cold. 'Check in was rough. Phoned Karen because I couldn’t find the key pad on the door. It was dark and late. She gave me the address with no further instruction and then hung up on me. Didn’t phone or text back to see if I got in ok. '

'When we arrived the thermostat was locked and we couldn't change from cool to heat. Christian was awesome about getting that figured out for us and communicated very well. We did get the thermostat changed so we could be comfortable. One of the best hosts we have ever dealt with in our stays. '
