'I thought the gorilla theme was really cute and liked the shared space dorm feeling. Some guests were cheerful and not especially quiet but once it got late it was quiet and we slept well. It actually felt festive and pleasant. The bath facilities were clean. There could have been more garbage bins as they got full quickly and it became difficult to separate. The space had a good feeling and it was comfortable to sleep on futons even as a family. There's not much privacy so it might not be great...

'Place is super clean with good facilities. I liked the interiors of my small single room which made it feel like it had adequate space for all my needs. My only slight qualm is that the pillow was small and thin, which did not give sufficient neck support. Overall, the place is 10/10 great value for money.'

'Beautiful peaceful ryokan with the full Japanese experience. We loved both of the bookable bathhouses- great after a chilly day in the Deer Park. The kaiseki dinner in your own private adjoining dining room was beautifully presented and delicious. The staff were all very lovely. Highly recommend. '
