'The house was everything we wanted and more. Loaded with space, kitchen supplies, comfort, a grill, gorgeous stone fireplace. The location on. sleepy back road in the woods was beautiful and quiet. The only complaint is that they make you take your trash with you when you go. There was a pass for the local dump which helped offset the inconvenience. Otherwise, A+'

We arrived on a Friday early evening and checked out Sunday morning. Mother Nature had another plan and rained on us during our only full day there. This allowed us to spend several awake hours in the cottage. It is so peaceful and we enjoyed everything (I even took a nap)! The bed is comfy and even satisfied my bed-snob husband....

'This is a clean, comfortable stay with direct proximity to SLATE VALLE TRAILS. If you are looking for a great mountain biking or hiking trip, this is it! Easy access to the world class trails of southern Vermont, and come home to a hot tub and comfy beds. Perfection!'

We'd rented the cabin to go to a wedding and weekend events. Checked out an hour before checkout time to get to the event--unshowered-- and called the host, who didn't pick up. Left a message reporting the problem, and then we were told that we should have spoke to him to have him fix the problem...
