'Clearly a recent building or very well renovated given the paint smell when entering the room (wich was noticeable but gone very quickly when turning on the airconditioning). Very light and modern setting with friendly and helpful staff. Not directly to the beach so you’re located at a more quiet place. 'This is an old hotel, but it is very clean. It is so quite. Could not hear anyone above us or out in the hallway outside. Very nice stay. This will be my go-to hotel when in Galveston. Beautiful pool and nice bar at the pool. Food was great! '

'Very clean property , decor was very nice, inside and all around was a welcoming invite. No secured parking, but I felt safe enough to park and walk to my car at night. It was very accessible to big grocery stores, shopping centers, and many local food places. It’s a great area to be in, if you want to stay close to the airport.
