Golfhotels in Zuidwest-Michigan

'First off, check in is at 4pm. We arrived at 3pm and were told our room would be ready soon so we brought all of our luggage in and waited in the lobby. 4pm came and went, and after asking multiple times when our room would be ready, we kept getting the same reply, just a few minutes, they're still cleaning the room. Finally we were able to check-in at 4:25pm, almost a half hour after our check-in time, and wasting over an hour sitting in the lobby. We weren't the only ones either, there were...

'It is nothing fancy other than a great, convenient place to lay your head down, get a good shower, breakfast and friendly service for a reasonable price before hitting the Shipshewana flea market for a day of shopping. I stay here all the time and haven't really been disappointed ever.'

'Good breakfast and right across parking lot is a nice restaurant with outdoor seating with views of the lake and live entertainment. A little bit of remodeling was taking place but they weren’t too noisy.'

'We came up here to go to the Indiana Sanddunes State Park. It was super close and the property was very nice. The breakfast staff was excellent.'

'Expedia is the problem!!! Terrible customer service making a single Dad pay for nights they didn't stay, when the hotel staff said is was fine to check out early without penalty. My card was charged for 2 nights thru Expedia and I paid separately for Thursday night as our baseball tournament started earlier than anticipated and ended earlier than anticipated too. $250 for one night at this hotel is gauging. This is a $120 a night hotel maximum.'

'I was not impressed with my stay, the parking lot was not very well maintained and the pool looked like you were at the beach, sand all over the bottom, even though it was an outdoor pool it could have been better maintained. And then I got locked out of my room, had to go to the front office for them to reset my key. The room it self was clean, but the coffee in the rooms was not good.'

'I didn't sign up for what I got. The hotel in the photos online looked beautiful and I was really looking forward to it. It may have been beautiful before, and it may be beautiful again one day, but right now it is a big construction zone. It looks like a bomb went off in the lobby. If I knew in advance what was happening, i NEVER would have booked the stay. The room was fine and mostly quiet, but the rest was not fine and not worth it.'
