'The postcard cabin we rented was everything we needed for a rustic Michigan getaway, but not too rustic, it was so nice to get out of the heat in the AC! They even thought of our dog as there was an outdoor leash provided for the dog’s outdoor time. Having the firewood on site was so convenient as well! Hot showers, a toilet, comfy beds… we will definitely be returning! The private lake was the perfect place to cool off and chill too😎 I think they may have thought of everything needed!'

'This cottage was "as advertised". Small but perfect for 2 people. While not located on the water it was within walking distance of 3 of the lakes. Also, walking distance to an ice cream shop, bar/ restaurant and a brewery. Comes with access to a dock. We also enjoyed the fire pit one night.'

'We had a great experience with Grandpa’s Cabin. It was clean and inviting. The cabin had everything we needed to have the comforts of home, away from home. The lake was beautiful and there are row boats you can use. We forgot our fishing poles so I messaged the owner and asked if there were by chance any at the house before purchasing a few for the trip and she ran some over for us to use. Only about 20 minutes from South Haven. Would recommend. '

'Communication was excellent, Cottage 5 was very clean and comfortable (we had 8 staying there). We did not cook or grill at the cottage, but we did use the fire pit, very comfortable. The lake access to Little Crooked Lake was close by (across a private road) & the sand beach area was clean & clear. '

'We enjoyed our stay at the cabin! It had a lot of nice features and was very comfortable. The pond was covered in algae and did not look as nice as the pictures showed, so we ended up not utilizing the canoe, but it may have been the time of year we were visiting. Otherwise, our stay was great! Lots of room to relax, plenty of activities right there on the property, and a short drive to go into town to do things!'

'Property was basically just steps from the lake. Quaint 50’s style cottage. Small bedrooms , small living space. Cute but very dated. Was very difficult for my elderly parents to climb up the stairs to enter main living area with no rails to hold on to. Bathroom needed repairs. 'I felt like I walked into a hallmark movie when we arrived. The house was stunning and adorable. We went to the grocery and cooked most meals in but the kitchen had all we needed. 'The cottage itself was quaint and cuter than the pictures! We loved the decorating and felt it was very clean! Like everyone, I’m sure, we loved the screened in porch and the perfect view of the lake. We spent much of our time just soaking in God’s beautiful landscape! We rented the pontoon and enjoyed taking some swims in the lake to cool off. '
