'Very close to indiana dunes state and national park. Room very clean with microwave and and a pretty good size refrigerator. Comfortable bed. There is a nice outdoor patio where you can sit outside. Staff helpful. VERY limited breakfast selections. Coffee was good and was available all the time. Only negative is we were unable to check in early but otherwise everything was great. 'It was nice but I feel they could use some maintenance. Paint in the room and wallpaper in bathroom was peeling and lacking trim. Blankets and curtains looked old and outdated. Handle on jetted tub was leaking, microwave made funny noise, and batteries in the remote were dying from the start.'

'I booked Upjohn House but was told I had to come to Henderson Castle to get the keys, and I should stay there instead. It was nice enough, the setting of Henderson Castle is beautiful. I had a lovely French breakfast my first morning, but when I came down the second morning, no one was around, I was told breakfast was from 6:30-9:30, and I was downstairs at 7:00.
