Historische hotels in Zuidwest-Ontario

'Very pleasant - basic but with all the needed amenities. Really lovely location with large grounds, very peaceful, in a pretty town. No food services on site but a fridge in each room to bring breakfast or snacks in. Excellent coffee (I didn't check the tea) served in the morning. We took the minimum room available and it was fine. '

'Way overpriced; C$ 221.20 for a room without airconditioning. Temp in room reached 26 degrees Celsius. Then while taking a shower I noticed the small shampoo and shower gel were used and almost empty. Sad but true. At check-in the receptionist had a hard time counting the (partly) cash I paid with. Also a hard time to deduct the cash from the invoice and charge the rest to my MasterCards. The hotel itself has its charmes but is way overpriced. Guess it’s the new reality. '
