'We had a very clean room, spacious. No couch but was comfortable. Very clean pool area and welcoming staff. Our children were very loud in the pool area but we were still treated kindly. Breakfast was alright too. We've chosen to stay here everytime we make the trip to the House on the Rock or Cave of the Mounds because our rooms are always well cleaned and this place has many unique traits for a hotel. 'Very clean and appears new, but I understand that it has been there for a while. Conveniently located as to area, but behind some other buildings so little hard to find the entrance. Quiet, though, so a pretty good trade-off. Staff was attentive and helpful.'
