Prima hotel, helaas wel vergane glorie.
Kamers prima, zwembad groot en mooi en zoutwater, strand met huur-ligbedjes. Eenvoudig restaurantje met betaalbare gerechtjes. In het weekend drukker dordat veel locals van het zwembad en het strand komen genieten. Prima voor een paar dagen.

It looks like the hotel is shutting down. Many buildings are closed. There is pretty much deferred maintenance. We visited the hotel in the second week of May 2018 and many facilities mentionened on hotels.com are closed or have no service. The poolbar is closed. The restaurants are closed. Only one bar serves drinks. The sun beds at the swimming pool have no matresses, no towels are provided, and it is not allowed to take towels from the room. Towels are for sale in the store. There are no parasols and hardly any other items that give shade in the swimming pool area. According to hotels.com WIFI should be available in the rooms, but standard it is not. In my case, I had to complain a lot, and then suddenly they come up with a mobile router to solve the problem. Pets are not allowed, but a dog of the neighbours wanders around on the hotel grounds and swimming pool. The hotel is merely used by tourist groups that travel with busses and stay one night. We had a 4 person room with balcony and that was good, alhough kitchen utensils were minimal. The good thing is that during the day it was very quiet, and we had the swimming pool for our selves. The location is supurb, views are great. There are restaurants in the village on walking distance, and other villages can be reached in a 5 minutes car drive. So in case you are just looking for some rest on a good beach location, and have no expectations about service, you might well consider this hotel.

Thank you for your stay and your comments Mr. Michel. The pool bar was closed at the moment cause we didnt have the staff to man it cause two bartenders were sick unfortunately. Parasols and items on poolside are usually taken care of by same people so we werent able to provide them at the moment or later collect them. Im sorry this happend while you were staying with us. Onverzorgd en teleurstellend
Ok, een hotel kan oud en/of gedateerd zijn en dat geldt zeker ook voor Hotel Villa’s Plat. Maar hier was meer aan de hand. Geen WiFi op de kamer, terwijl dit wel op de site stond. Dode vliegjes in de badkamer. Gaten in de handdoeken en in het beddengoed. En alleen de eerste dag een beetje doucheschuim, daarna niet meer. Er is wel een zwembad, maar daar zat geen water in. Bij het ontbijt lagen beschimmelde sinaasappels. En we mochten geen stukje fruit meenemen voor onderweg. Het plafond van het restaurant lekt op de tafels, zelfs als het niet geregend heeft. Bij terugkomst uit Dubrovnik ‘s-avonds om 8 uur was de receptie donker en op slot. We moesten op zoek naar iemand die ons de kamersleutel kon geven. Geen aanrader dus.

Great spot that is just very outdated and worn out. Location is amazing but everything is showing it’s age. Bathrooms at the pool and rooms and rough. Restaurant was dirty with spider webs and dirt along the blinds. Location had so much potential. Saltwater pool with the view is awesome but most of the chairs were broken.

The only negative thing about this place was that the rooms need to be updated. The rooms are kept clean, front desk personnel is excellent. Restaurant service and food is excellent. We stayed the first night and last night of our trip in the hotel, we got there late at night and the kitchen was already closed, the waiter told us that he can order food from a different restaurant for us nearby, something that he didn’t had to do but he still offered that option for what we were very thankful. Even though I saw some bad reviews like for example the breakfast buffet was cold, grumpy old man behind the buffet never smiles, water in the pool to salty, staff is not helpful ect. I still gave this place a chance for the reviews that loved the view and I was not disappointed. The pastries in the buffet were made fresh and my food was not cold. Obviously if you get there late for breakfast the food will get cold, older gentleman behind the buffet was pulite, and the pool. You have a pool, at least two beaches nearby which you can see from some of the balconies. Planty of parking, besides the restaurant in the complex there is an other grate restaurant in walking distance which also had plenty of parking if you ate to tired to walk there and deside to drive. That restaurant has grate food and reviews but you have to make a reservation days before. We tried to eat there on a saturday but were told that there is no availability until tuesday. Renovation aside, excellent place.

Nice and close to the Airport
Stayed at the hotel as an emergency due to a cancelled flight. Very close location to the airport, nice views from our very large balcony room, accommodating 4. Dinner and breakfast served at the local venue nearby with amazing views of the sea. Not used any other facilities as it was just a brief stop.

Just finished 4 nights here starting off our honeymoon. The room had wonderful air conditioning and was very comfortable and quiet. The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. Parking was a breeze. Breakfast was top notch and served right on the water. The private beach and beach bar were beautiful and so much fun. Would highly recommend this as opposed to staying in packed touristy Dubrovnik.

This place was incredible. It was such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay and the staff was beyond excellent!!! Elena was just extraordinary. She went above and beyond many times for us. They whole staff did. We ate at the bar/restaurant there and the Cevapi was excellent. Infinity pool with the scenery relaxing. Wish we could have stayed there our whole vacation. Short ride to Dubrovnik. This place is awesome!!! View from our room incredible. Clear blue water, islands and fresh breezes!!

A lovely stay
We stayed for three nights (not consecutive) on our way to Korcula. The hotel is ideally situated outside Dubrovnik and quite close to the airport. You can take a ferry to go from the hotel to Dubrovnik. The views from the rooms we had were lovely and the site was family friendly and quiet. There is a lovely old town nearby called Cavtat with restaurants and bars. The staff was friendly and helpful. The site in itself is quite outdated but we did not mind. The quality of breakfast was not to our liking so we bought our own food to eat on the balcony of our room. The rooms we had had a fridge and a mini kitchen. You can order take-aways or eat on site.

Nice location close to the see and not far away from Dubrovnik. You could reach Dubrovnik by car or by bus. The Bus Station is 15 minutes walking away. It is a nice complex… but need to be renovated. No WI-FI at the room… only available at the lobby. Long walk to the restaurant for breakfast… nothing for handicap or old people… many stairs…

Although it would be safe to call this hotel a three out of five star hotel, it is a rather perfect place for a short stay. We stayed here on our first and last night in Dubrovnik area as it is really close to the hotel. Although the hotel rooms could use some updates (their plumbing is in need of an overhaul), if you treat this like an airport hotel then you will be impressed by the room size, the beautiful views from your private patio, easy access to the beach (great way to get over a long travel day) and sizeable quality breakfast (included in stay). I recommend this hotel provided you are not expecting a modern, newly renovated room. Also, there are no elevators or wifi in the room (only in the lobby) so keep that in mind when booking if these are deal breakers.

Une chambre et une vue mer fidèle à ce qui a été annoncé. Une piscine magnifique et un accès à deux jolies plages. En revanche, trop de monde. Impression d’une usine à touristes. Personnel pas aimable traitant les clients comme des numéros. Petit déjeuner et restauration vraiment médiocre a éviter. Le pire rapport qualité prix de tout notre séjour. Un risque incendie à ne pas négliger en été. Nous avons dû évacuer la chambre en raison d’un grand incendie sur la colline en face de l’hôtel et nous avons su que tous les étés cet endroit brûlait beaucoup.
