'Immaculately clean, comfortable bed; the two most important things. We've stayed at more charming places in Great Barrington, but our usual B&B required two nights and we only wanted one. Nothing fancy, no frills, but ultimately quite satisfactory. We would stay here again. P.S. we found some charm and a nice breakfast at the Holli Cafe.'

'Heel goed hotel. Management was heel goed. Eerste hotel waar ze het fooi probleem voor de kamermeisjes goed hebben opgelost; er ligt een envelop waar je geld in kan doen voor het kamermeisje op naam dat je kamer heeft schoongemaakt; je geeft het envelopje vervolgens aan de receptie af die er voor zorgt dat het geld bij het betreffende kamermeisje terecht komt. Zeer uitgebreid en goed verzorgd ontbijt. Jammer dat de kamers wat gehorig waren; wij konden het telefoongesprek van de man in de kamer...

'I spilled an ENTIRE cup of cocoa I was making for my niece. The clerk on was a very kind, friendly young man named Paul. I have worked as a chef for 30 years, the cocoa went EVERYWHERE. He got a mop bucket , I started cleaning my mess up I just know what its like to walk into a mess!! Left by someone else. Paul said "you dont have to finish, ill do it no problem. He was a VERY kind young man. And he was helpful & he cleaned up the rest of the spill. I think your LUCKY to have such kind...

'My impression is that this refurbished historic motel from the mid-20th century is owner operated. Plainly the staff try very hard to give you a good experience. This said, the room stank of disinfectant, so badly that I had to open all the windows for a hour or two to clear the room. Also the property backs against train tracks, which are in use. Otherwise fine.'

'This nice motel by a lovely creek has great beds (not too hard, not too soft) and quality soaps and shampoos. Breakfast from 8 to 10am includes fresh strawberries and blueberries, oranges, apples, pears, and bananas, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, waffles, cereal, bagels, muffins and toast. Coffee was good plus orange juice and milk were available. And if you are so inclined, fresh baked chip cookies were also available. Service was personal and friendly. The motel is 20 minutes from Bennington...

'Positives: The room was fine. The staff is helpful as I came with the twisted ankle, he gave me the room on the first floor and brought suitcase and a bag of ice. Negatives: The ground is with potholes, drive carefully. The breakfast area is tiny. The selection is very limited even for continental. Tables were dirty. Hot water for tea wasn’t hot. There’s no usual ramp for suitcase even in front of the office'

'I very much enjoyed my stay at the Hideaway in Lenox. The facility is charming, cozy, and clean. The problem was checking in. The link they sent me did not work. I was able to get in touch with someone over the phone, but it took some time and the agent was difficult to understand. I found the check-in process to be stressful. After we got over this part, the day was very pleasant, and I would definitely go back in the future.'
