'Het hotel is prima, met een uitstekende grote moderne kamer. In de kamer is een apart toilet die vanzelf doortrekt😊 Op de bovenste verdieping is een mooie spa en welness ruimte. Personeel is vriendelijk. Het enige minpuntje vonden wij de ontbijtruimte. Deze is te klein. '

'Great new hotel in Takayama, very walkable from the Takayama train station. The rooms were very clean and the staff were among the friendliest to english speaking guests we have ever encountered in Japan. The publc bath has seperate traditional areas and a clothed mixed area, again very clean and amazing view from the top floor. Other reviews mention the sensor light being an issue in the room but it only goes off if you are standing at the front door to exit the room, was never able to set it...

'Hotel is near to train station, very practical. We arrived before check-in time and intended to leave our luggage. However, our room was already available. The room was (as all hotel rooms in Japan) small. The mattress had seen better days and was uncomfortable. The entire hotel is a bit dated, however it suited our needs just fine. Staff were friendly and efficient. '

'Okada is a pretty big ryokan in Hirayu onsen area. Perfect for visiting Kamikochi in the summer. Rooms are of good size with a nice balcony/sitting area. The biggest plus of the ryokan is the beatiful onsen with multiple baths. Drawbacks were that our room didn’t have AC, only a fan, while it was very hot. The futons were pretty hard.'
