'Was nicer than the one in Oceanside we stayed at. However, I was surprised that we had to pay to park our car at the hotel. That seems a little extreme. Staff was pompous and condescending. Not smiling or happy. Would have rather of continued their conversation that we interrupted by arriving. But the room and grounds were very nice.'

'I love the location! It’s so peaceful and serene! The food is delish from the restaurant there and super convenient being part of the property. Also, love that there are vendors nearby to rent paddle boards and kayaks! Can’t wait to return though. Wish it was less expensive. '

'It was a building and room that exuded history. The room was spacious and charming with its bed, furniture, and balcony. The bath, air conditioning, and TV were comfortable. However, the surrounding area required a bit of caution.'

'Ons verblijf bij het surfer beach hotel was super! Het personeel was heel aardig en behulpzaam, het inchecken verliep soepel! De kamer was prima, de bedden lagen ook goed! We hadden zélfs zeezicht vanuit de kamer! De plek is fantastisch, aan het strand van pacific beach. Ook fijn dat er een terras bij het hotel was waar je kon zitten, liggen en een hapje eten. Ook.zijn er frisbee's, stoeltjes, bodyboards etc die je als gasten kunt gebruiken. Het zwembad was ook superfijn! De enige minpunten...

'We stayed at this hotel mainly because of its location. It meet our needs clean, comfortable bed and located close to restaurants, walking distance to water front and downtown. We loved walking around. Some reviews said that the room was too small but it worked well for both of us. We were not looking for a luxury stay but for a clean decent stay with a great price and great location. '
